Onboarding steps - SCHOOL

  1. REQUEST ROTATION

The school/student reaches out to the clinical department or instructor to seek an allied health rotation.

The department agrees to take the student and introduces via email the school coordinator to the Clinical Affiliation & Compliance specialist (CACS) at clinicalaffiliation@uhkc.org.

  1. AFFLIATION AGREEMENT:

The CACS will verify a clinical affiliation agreement is in place with the school. If there is not an agreement, the CACS initiates the process with the approval of leadership.

**Please note the agreement process takes time to pass through both legal departments. This cannot be performed for a student seeking quick placement.

After the agreement is in place, the CACS communicates to the school coordinator that the application can be submitted online.

  1. APPLICATION & REVIEW:

School agrees to review the instructions for submitting an application with the student and answer any questions they have. Please do not provide the clinicalaffiliation@uhkc.org email to the students for questions, but instead have the school reach out to the CACS if you have questions or concerns.

**Please note the paperwork must be submitted online 30 days in advance.

  1. STUDENT SHADOWING FORM:

The Student Shadowing form must be completed 30 days prior to the clinical rotation. Email completed application or questions to clinicalaffiliation@uhkc.org. Please note there may be a delay in response up to 5 business days.
