We accept online payments for University Health facility and physician services:

  • University Health Truman Medical Center.
  • University Health Lakewood Medical Center.
  • University Health Academic Physicians.
  • University Health Physicians.

When Services are received at a University Health Facility, you may receive more than one bill for these services, including bills for the facility and the provider. Facility bills could include but are not limited to office visits, procedures, and hospital stays. Listed below are examples of bills that you may receive. University Health Truman Medical Center and University Lakewood Medical Center are bills for the facility. University Health Academic Physicians and University Health Physicians are bills for your provider services. We accept online payments for all facility and provider services. To determine which statement you are receiving, please look in the top left corner of your statement and scroll to the links below for payment.

Why am I receiving multiple bills for my services?

Depending on your services you may receive separate bills from each service that is provided. Physicians bills could include, but are not limited to: anesthesiologist, physicians, and surgeons. Facility bills could include, but not to: office visit fees for facility, ER facility fees, Surgery facility fees.

Is University Health the same as Truman Medical Center?

Yes, Truman Medical Center has changed their name as of 10/01/2021 to University Health Truman Medical Center and University Health Lakewood.

What is my patient id?

Patient Id for physicians billing is going to start with a L or a H and is located at the bottom right of your statement. Please reference the copy of the statement on the billing page. The Patient Id will be circled in the bottom left corner. For Facility Billing, the patient id will be located Mid page. The patient id will begin with a 600*******. This will be listed as encounter number and is 10 digits long. Please utilize the billing page for more information.

What if I need Financial Assistance?

University Health’s financial assistance program assists patients that do not have insurance. If you do not have insurance and need financial assistance please contact 816-404-3000. For University Academic physicians, please call 877-988-1890, University Health Physicians: 816-404-8188. For Facility billing please contact 816-404-5190 816-404-3000.
