Gender Pathway Services at Children's Mercy. This program provides family-centered services. It works with transgender, gender-variant and gender-questioning children. Specialists provide evidence-based care.

GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBT Equality. This is a national organization. It ensures health equity for LGBTQ and sexual and gender minority (SGM) people. It also works for equality for LGBTQ healthcare professionals.

Kansas City Anti-Violence Project. This nonprofit provides domestic violence, sexual assault and hate crimes advocacy and education for the LGBTQ community. It offers services in Missouri and Kansas.

Kansas City Center for Inclusion. This charitable group provides safer spaces for LGBTQIA+ people in Kansas City. It offers resources and activities and supports a cohesive LGBTQIA+ community.

PFLAG. This family-based group is committed to the civil rights of LGBT people. PFLAG Kansas City helps LGBTQIA youth, their families and communities. It provides education, resources and advocacy.

Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood Great Plains provides sexual and reproductive healthcare to men and women. It's also one of the region's largest providers of transgender healthcare.

SOFFA. Significant Others, Family, Friends and Allies of Transgender and Non-Binary Persons is a support group. It serves those close to someone who is or feels they may be transgender or transsexual.

Thrive Health Connection. This organization offers inclusive, holistic and integrated health and wellness services. It serves LGBTQ communities, people impacted by HIV and those seeking a welcoming health center.

The Transgender Institute. This team of health professionals provides coordinated healthcare. It serves the transgender community with gender therapy, hormone therapy, primary care and all surgeries.

Transas City. This is a site designed for transgender and transsexual people and their supporters. It includes transgender-related topics and events within the Kansas City area. Information is research and fact based.

The Union KC. Serving the FTM (female-to-male) community, this group provides support, resources and social events. It's located primarily in Kansas City, Missouri. However, the brotherhood also has a presence in the surrounding states.
