Primary Care (review)

At University Health, we make it easy for you to get high-quality, comprehensive primary care, close to home.

Our primary care providers offer healthcare services to people of all ages—from newborns to older adults. They can treat common conditions such as viruses, infections, depression and anxiety, as well as the aches and pains that you can’t figure out. They can also help you manage chronic illnesses, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma and high cholesterol.

When you have a medical concern, your primary care provider should be your first call. In many cases, they'll be able to address the problem. If a specialist is needed, your primary care provider will give you a referral and will continue to oversee and coordinate your care.

For your convenience, Truman Medical Centers/University Health has primary care clinics located in both hospital settings and in the community at locations throughout the Kansas City, Missouri, area.
