When you just can’t wait for an appointment, we're here.

Our University Health on the Go! clinics offer convenient walk-in access at an affordable cost to adults and children 18 months or older, six days a week - no appointment needed!

Our highly-trained family nurse practitioners provide on-the-spot treatment for minor illnesses, injuries and skin conditions. They also perform tests, sports physicals, vaccinations and more.

You do not have to be an existing patient to receive care at UH On the GO! Results of your visit can be shared with your provider if you choose.

When you can’t wait for an appointment, turn to our compassionate care team to tackle minor injuries and illnesses.

Our walk-in clinics are located inside both Independence Hy-Vee stores, next to the pharmacy.

We're open Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

We accept Medicaid, Medicare and most commercial insurance plans, and self-pay.

Please note we cannot provide immunizations for Medicaid patients under the age of 18. We also cannot provide immunizations or booster shots required at a child's 5-year checkup or for kindergarten enrollment.
